Midjourney is an artificial intelligence program that can create an image based on a user's description. You want to see a man taking a selfie with a bear? Okay, here it is.
Midjourney is a space for imaginative and fun-loving folk. Occasionally, you have a pervert trying to trick the program into creating kinky porn for them. But, fortunately, those people are rare. The platform produces a lot loving and tender images.

Have you ever considered how a squid would fare at The Comedy Store?

t never crossed my mind how Rodney Dangerfield might look as a gladiator. But shawnbishop was curious about this.
Midjourney invented these comedians at the request of libriumandme.
JulesSpedding imagined a comedian pursuing a new career as a doctor.
Fairies heavily populate Midjourney. Napalmarsenal has used detailed instructions to produce the most beautiful fairies.
A member simply asked the program for images of a rooster fight in the Philippines. Look at the mad images that it produced.

How does a computer program understand how to turn a pineapple into a cartoon character?

I am amazed by these insanely detailed images of Marcel Proust's den.

This is a photo of Proust's actual suite.
This is his bedroom.
It seems that Midjourney came up with something entirely original.
Lema asked to see a young woman wearing a "baroque dress" at an 18th century ball. I love the image that the program produced from this simple instruction.
Here's another image from the ball.
I like this simple image of a frog wearing a backpack.

And what about a backpack made of frogs?

This is a steampunk frog's idea of a backpack.

Some queries produce a wide variety of images. Daveieiiee asked for "a fantasy painting of 3 wide eyed young sisters of different ages, frightened, deep red of fire in the background, huddled together." The member repeatedly hit the "Variations" button and the program kept turning out unique variations of the three sisters.
Midjourney does get confused at times. Livebackwards asked the program to produce the following image: "Avril Lavigne, soaking wet, torrential rain, laughing, drenched, soaked, wet blonde hair, wearing a red polka dot dress, from the waist up, water dripping." The program applied the keyword "red," which was meant to apply to the dress, to the torrential rain. So, Midjourney made it look like the young woman had blood dripping down her face.
Here are bloodless variations of this image.
Kendrix put George Burns in a studded leather jacket.
You can now say that you have seen pirate selfies.
Every little princess deserves her own pet dragon.
Here is one last image for the day.
