The Many Faces of Norman Bates

I started out on this project working to capture the likeness of the actors.  Here are a few portraits of Jimmy Stewart that Midjourney generated.  

This is how Stewart's Norman might have looked after cleaning up one of his mother's murder scenes.

Here is Clark Gable.

This is the way that Midjourney reimagined Norman.  

This is the program's Mrs. Bates.

I provided Midjourney with the following prompt:

Reimagine the final scene of Psycho in four frames.  The first frame is a full direct shot of Norman Bates sitting alone in a bare prison cell with a plain gray blanket draped over his shoulders.  He is looking directly into the camera.  The second frame is a closer shot after the camera has moved forward.  The third frame shows a tiny fly landing on Norman’s hand.  The fourth frame is a close-up shot of Norman’s face as Norman smiles sinisterly into the camera.

 Midjourney responded with lots of weird imagery.  This is the weirdest.  

Norman suddenly vanishes, leaving nothing behind but the fly.
