Movie Posters, Part Six: Narrative Vignettes

In the 1950s and 1960s, posters often featured narrative vignettes.  Sometimes, two to four panels were sequenced along a poster's edge.  The idea was to create a tantalizing plot preview, distilling a film's dramatic arc into a mosaic of miniature dramas.
