I wrote before about Midjourney's "--cref" parameter, which allows a member to create images using reference photos. I played around with this recently. This was the first photo that I submitted.
It was encouraging to see this nice but basic portrait generate a series of striking images.
Then, I submitted this photo.
I simply asked the program to provide a portrait of the woman. I included absolutely no other instructions. I was surprised the way that the program emphasized the woman's curves.
I was pleased with the results that I received from a photo of Isabella Deluca.
I used a painter style reference with Ms. Deluca's photo. This was the outcome.
Midjourney mostly missed when it comes to capturing Ms. Deluca's likeness. But I still like the images.
Next, I went with the photo of a celebrity, Olivia Newton John.
Here's one last one that I did.
I took a break from the pretty ladies with this photo of 1930s radio and film comedian Joe Penner, who was known for the catchphrase "Wanna buy a duck?"
I hope that you enjoyed the photos.
