Distorting the camera's view of a comedian can be a source of laughs. Harold Lloyd achieved this effect with a funhouse mirror in
Number, Please? (1920).
Larry Semon produced a number of twisted images of himself using a cracked mirror in
Kid Speed (1924).
But a favorite of mine is the way in which a water cooler deforms the image of Jerry Lewis in
Artists and Models (1955).
