More on the Trapdoor Chase Routine

A few months ago, I wrote about a trapdoor chase routine that dates back hundreds of years. Dave Gadsden, a film collector, sent me a rare film clip that shows Lupino Lane performing the routine in Joyland (1929).

Also, a more fantastic version of the routine has now turned up recently on the Cartoon Network series Adventure Time.
